At a glance
- Dates: 23 November 2026 to 29 December 2026 (the food market stays open until 3 January 2027, according to our map data).
- Hours: Mon–Thu 11am–7pm, Fri–Sun 10am–8pm.

Colmar is smaller and more compact than Strasbourg, and many visitors find it more charming: canals, painted half-timbered houses and six small markets, each in its own square. It is also the best base for the Christmas markets in the wine villages around it.
