Planning your visit to Toulouse
In Toulouse, the Christmas market fills Place du Capitole in the heart of the city: you cannot miss it, and it is easy to reach on foot from the metro or the nearby pedestrian streets. Other, smaller markets elsewhere in the city add to the festivities, so you can extend your walk.
The 2026 dates have been announced on the official website, but this edition’s opening hours have not been published yet: the French page shows last year’s hours as a guide, and we will update it as soon as they are announced. As is often the case, Friday and Saturday evenings are the busiest.
Central Toulouse is best visited without a car in December: the metro and public transport are the simplest choice. Entry to the market is free; you only pay for tastings and purchases.
